Sumac Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon Black Sage Vineyard 1998
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaDeep cherry colour. Again the familiar cassis sweet oak nose with some crushed pepper, licorice, barnyard and resin. Fairly big entry with lots of cassis, licorice and spicy, blackberry fruit on the palate and a slightly dry, tannic finish. This is now softening up but it will need a few more years to fully soften the tannins.Tasted: 01 March 2001Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $19.95 | 750ml |
