Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesThis is 100 percent cabernet sauvignon, blended from two top Columbia Valley vineyards: Seven Hills and Windrow. Made to be drunk early it has an aromatic nose with lots of black fruit and cassis aromas. There is a touch of that leafy, forest floor flavouring with a warm spicy oaky finish. McClellan used only a third to 40 percent new oak to allow the vineyard to have an imprint on the wine. Will develop over the next three to six years.Tasted: 01 March 2001Tasted by: Prices:
