Napa Valley, California, United StatesA mixture of 54/24/18 sangiovese/cabernet sauvignon/merlot from prime Napa and Carneros vineyards. Very peppery, spicy, roasted earth, prune plum, gamey leather aromas. Rich, round, well balanced wit ripe prune plum, gamey, vanilla, leather and chocolate flavours. Ripe tannins in the finish with some nice toasty oak.
