Kendall-Jackson Merlot Grand Reserve 1998

California, United StatesThe best lots from Sonoma's Alexander Valley, Dry Creek and upper Russian River make for a cherry cola, spicy, peppery, minty coffee nose. Lush currant, black cherry fruit with understated spicy clove notes, cedar, mint and coffee makes for showy notes. Well balanced but needs 2-3 years to round out.
