Chateau Le Louvetier 1998
Pessac-Léognan, Graves, Bordeaux, FranceLike its white sister, the red is made from younger vines but with the intent to illustrate both the Graves terroir and Lurton style. Ripe cherry, blackberry, waxy, rion, tobacco and earth aromas with a touch of vanilla. Round and slightly dry but well balanced with earthy, iron, blackberry, peppery spicy, tobacco flavours. Nearly ready to drink and definitely has the Graves character. Good introductory style.Tasted: 01 March 2001Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:BC | $19.45 | 750ml |
