Carmen Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 1998
Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileCassis vanilla and smoky barnyard character here. Very impressive out of the bottle. Fairly lean in the mouth with what is best described as Bordeaux styling. The fruit comes off 30-year old vines on the estate at the foot of the Andes. Again intense but dry in the finish and not much fun to drink at this point.Tasted: 01 March 2001Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $19.95 | 750ml |
