Stoneleigh Chardonnay 1998
Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandLess stark than the sauvignon, with obvious oak on the nose. Buttery, vanilla flavours, with softer textures and medium concentration of pear/apple fruit. The finish is a touch oily. Ravioli lobster could be agreat match as would herbed pasta. or a simple steamed crab that you can dip in a mix of olive oil, lemon juice, a drop of balsamic vinegar, fresh cut basil, diced tomato and season with lemon pepper and salt.Tasted: 01 September 2000Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $14.95 | 750ml |
