Tuscany, ItalyThe Pomino Benefizio chardonnay comes with small amounts of pinot grigio and pinot bianco. The nose is "Parmesan-like with hints of earth and citrus." The wine's skinny texture was the perfect foil for the rich, Porcini mushroom risotto and that it kept one from being overwhelmed by the richness of the dish.
