Mendocino County, California, United StatesBonterra is an organically produced wine from the Fetzer/Brown Foreman group. Organic conjures images of oxidised wine but this is mainstream California chardonnay. Tons of oak, saw-dusty, doughy, vanilla and super ripe melon character. Very complex but a bit heavy-handed with a sweet, warm finish. Powerful, with good to excellent length.
