Napa Valley, California, United StatesSurely the biggest most massive wine ever made at Mondavi. In the mouth the wine is all California -- rich, fleshy, ripe and concentrated with very big but ripe tannins. There's a ton of blackberry jam, earthy, licorice, peppery, spicy vanilla flavours with a long coffee, vanilla, clove and cassis finish. Despite excellent concentration and balance it will need at least 7 years to mature in bottle. Made from the oldest vines at To-Kalon vineyard.
