Napa Valley, California, United StatesWonderful nose of ripe blackberries, licorice, spice and earth with touches of mint and tobacco in the background. On the palate it's rich, round and concentrated with supple but tight tannins. The flavours are a sophisticated mix of blackberry jam, earth, pepper and spice. There's fine balanced here marked by an elegant long finish. Hold four to seven years.
