Quinta do Crasto Vintage Port 1997
Cima Corga, Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalVery spicy, black pepper, ripe blackberry jam, spirity, intense licorice, waxy plum aromas. Jammy, peppery, orange spice, earthy flavours that are somewhat exotic. Slightly tannic, very classic style, not as big and fat as 1994 vintage but intense and aromatic with excellent balance. This is a wine to lie down, a definite Douro star.Tasted: 01 May 2000Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $59.00 | 750ml | Specialty |
