Stellenbosch, Coastal Region, South AfricaThe shiraz is aged in a 50/50 split of US and French oak. The colour is great and the nose authentic. Spicy, earthy, cedar, smoky, prune aromas. Dry, very earthy, prune, spicy, peppery flavours. Medium body, somewhat dry tannins, leather prune finish. Somewhat older style flavours and structure with less fresh berry fruit character.
