Baron Philippe de Rothschild Sauvignon Blanc 1999
FranceRothschild blends fruit from four distinct terroirs in the South of France to help shape the style of this white. Impressive light straw colour with a touch of gold. It's made with mainly purchased grapes that come from the Languedoc-Roussillon region in - Limoux and Bezier. Mostly grapefruit and melon aromas on the nose and the palate. Quite round, rich and smooth with a persistent a long finish. One of the best yet.Tasted: 01 October 1999Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $9.95 | 750ml |
