Russian River, Sonoma County, California, United StatesOpen lees, floral, buttery, citrus, and apple aromas. Ripe and round but very delicate and elegant, has balanced citrus, vanilla, leesy, butter and pear flavours. Very long finish for such an elegant wine. Acidity is somewhat soft so probably not one to age but will be great for the next 2-3 years. Very classy although the 1997 was somewhat more intense.
