Joseph Drouhin Chablis 1997
Chablis, Burgundy, FranceExpect a slightly toasted nose with rich nutty overtones. On the palate it's skinny with dry lean fruit reminiscent of grapefruit. The finish is slightly herbal with just a touch of bitterness. It would be difficult to enjoy without food. We suggest steamed black cod with black bean sauce, or even something sweet like scallops with snow peas and cashews.Tasted: 01 September 1999Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $24.95 | 750ml |
