It opens with the typical Oakville earth and blackberry jam character and the Franciscan vanilla wrap. Ripe, sweet fruit flavours of cassis, cherries and vanilla jump out of the glass. Classic Napa profile that boasts fine fruit and is fun to drink. Lacks only a final dose of complexity. It's 100 percent Oakville fruit from a vineyard next to Silver Oak.
