Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Central Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaThis Uco Valley malbec leads with lush blueberries and brambles, which are lifted by fragrant violets. Fourteen months in barrel dip the fruit in a chocolate accent, with the oak nicely balanced by the elevated fruit intensity. However, it retains good freshness on the palate, with some grip on the tannins, making this a solid BBQ red throughout the summer.
