Luján de Cuyo, Northern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaThe de Sangre Malbec comes off Luján de Cuyo's Las Compuertas, Vistalba, and Agrelo vineyards, at 960m average altitude. The destemmed fruit was fermented in stainless prior to moving to oak barrels for 1 years' rest. Black plum, black cherry, tobacco, and thorns flood a juicy palate, wrought with firm, sinewy, ferrous-dusted tannins which take this full bodied wine to an espresso finish.
