Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom their Naramata Bench estate Fleet Road Vineyard, this mid-sweet riesling reflects the warmer 2021 growing season. 14 hours of skin contact and whole cluster pressing gives some depth, and cooler stainless steel ferment and subsequent aging for a short stint gives clarity. Ripe pear, gooseberry is welcomely sculpted with lime pith and peel and fleshed out with sweet honeysuckle on the expansive palate, returning to the citrus pith on the lingering saline finish.
