Piedmont, ItalyThis Nebbiolo is tipped with 5% Vespolina grapes from the Novara hills, in Altopiemonte. After a native ferment and 6 days of maceration, this aged nine months in steel. Tart cherry, red currant, perfumed red florals run the slender, lofted palate, hugged tightly with sticky/grippy nebbiolo tannins through the white pepper finish.
