Justin Boxler Pinot Noir Croisée des Chemins 2021

Alsace, FranceCroisée des Chemins is sourced from several granitic vineyards, primarily on the Grand Cru Brand, and with plantings staring in the early 1970s. Part of the juice spends 10 days macerating before all is united and native fermented in barrels of various Bourgogne coopers and sizes for 8-10 months. Striking white pepper leaps from the glass, seasoning the vibrant palate of wild raspberry, cherry, perfumed rhubarb which streaks along the slender palate. The tension is wrapped with long, whisper fine tannins which guide this to a wild herb and saline end. Vibrant and beauty, drinking now and with time ahead.Tasted: 11 March 2023Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
