Fort Berens Pinot Noir 2021

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe fruit for the 2021 is Narmata-based, and compared to 2020 it is slightly drier and carries a touch more alcohol. It remains elegant and well structured, and the flavours are smoky with bloodied notes and briary earth. It is all hand picked, gently fermented and aged for nine months in neutral French and American oak barrels. The attack is juicy with darker black raspberry, and a dry, short finish. A perfect foil for salmon burgers or a simple mushroom pasta. Ready to drink.Tasted: 01 February 2023Tasted by: Prices:
