Doña Paula Selección de Bodega Malbec Alluvia Vineyard 2019

Gualtallary, Tupungato, Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Central Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaSelección de Bodega is the winery flagship red made from the finest plots from the 1350 metre-high Alluvia Vineyard in Gualtallary and is taken from bush vines growing out of an ancient river bed on a bed of limestone rocks. It is native fermented and aged in French oak barriques (50 percent new) for 20 months, and the result is an exciting red. On the nose, it is refreshing with floral, mineral, wet stone that tumble onto a palate of fresh berries, with a dash of black licorice. Juicy, chalky tannins run long through the finish. Structure and elegance are beautiful, as is balance, and this wine has it all.Tasted: 08 March 2023Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
