b.io Il Nero 2021

Sicily, ItalyThis distinctly shaped, bee-laden bottle is from the Terre Cevico co.op, founded in 1963, and sources nero d'avola with from inland southwestern Sicily. b.io references their organic project, also active in Puglia and their home base of Emilia Romagna. The grapes are harvested and fermented in stainless, with 10 days maceration and 6-8 months in tank. Young and simple, with jammy raspberry, sweet boysenberry on a shorter palate, framed with pasty and sticky tannins. There is some RS here to make it glide down easily.Tasted: 14 March 2023Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
