Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Naramata's Fleet Road vineyard, this merlot spent 3 weeks on skins before 1 year in mostly French oak (with a small percentage in American oak), 50% new. Ripe and glossy black plum rules the full palate, with tobacco, dark cherry, and bitter / sticky tannins hugging the sides. The finish carries espresso and dark chocolate.
