Megalomaniac Reserve Blanc de Noirs 2019
Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaThis 2019 is the inaugural release of Megalomaniac's Blanc de Noirs, with only 1500 bottles produced. This traditional method pinot noir sparkler comes from Vinemount Ridge, was fermented in stainless, and spent 18 months on lees sur lattes prior to a 0 dosage disgorge. Very floral, with ample red blossoms, tart red currant, and a lick of anise on a crisp palate, thankfully balanced somewhat by the cushion of lees lining through the floral kissed finish.
