Therianthropy Georgian Bay Field Blend Rosé 2021

Ontario, CanadaTherianthropy is the mythical process of shapeshifting, another way to view turning nature into wine. This small collaborative project launched in late 2019. This peach-hued rosé is a field blend of vidal, syrah, pinot noir, and baco noir, grown at Four Wheel Farm in Creemore. Rooted in the area's rich clay loams, these 812-year-old vines were sustainably grown and dry farmed, natively fermented with 10% seeing one week of skin time before joining the rest in stainless for full MLF and five months on fine lees (no bâtonnage). It was a bottle,d unfined and unfiltered. The lightly creamy, dry palate beds ripe strawberry, cherry, and tangerine, trailing off into subtle spicing—aA gentle and friendly rosé.Tasted: 09 January 2023Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
