Meyer Family Vineyards Old Main Road Vineyard Chardonnay 2021

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis might be the softest, creamiest Meyer chardonnay I have tasted. The acid is medium low, with creamy, toasted notes throughout the ripe peachy, starfruit. This will be ready sooner and can be drunk now too. Think roast chicken or a lovely chunk of warm brie. The former Tribute Series Chardonnay has morphed into simply the Old Main Road Vineyard. Silt over clay loams sitting at 350m is home to vines planted in 1996. In 2021 it was aged on its lees in 22 percent new French oak for 11 months with zero bâtonnage.Tasted: 02 February 2023Tasted by: Prices:
