Maenad Wine Co Skin Fermented Chardonnay 2020
St David's Bench, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaThis skin fermented chardy comes from the students at Niagara Collage. It was fermented on skins for 2 weeks, and continued MLF in mostly neutral French oak barrels. It was bottled unfined and unfiltered, with no added sulphites. The naturalist vein is evident in the lightly hazy, deep yellow gold hue. Piercing lemon, apricot, peach fuzz, shape this textural orange wine, with moderate acidity through the stony, grippy finish.
