Prince Edward County, Ontario, CanadaFrom a site across the road from Closson Chase's home property, this pinot noir was destemmed without crushing and fermented in large tonneau before aging in French barrels (20% new). Tart black currant, perfumed florals and lavender, wet wood is kissed with VA and wrapped with downy tannins through a dusky spiced finish.
