Uppercase Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis is a big red wine. It benefits from a fine 2020 vintage allowing full grape maturity on the vine. The fruit hails from two superior growing regions for cabernet sauvignon: the stony vineyards of the Similkameen; and Golden Mile Slopes. The nose is intense with big spicy, savoury notes. There are hints of green olives, blackberries, pepper and mineral on the palate. The style is linear with firm youthful tannins and some bitter dark chocolate in the finish. This wine needs three to five years in the bottle to gather itself and smooth out the edges. Best now with grilled beef.
