Lunessence Gamay 2021

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSummerland gamay is becoming a thing, and it is a good thing at Lunessence, where they work biodynamically. In this case, the mix is 96/4 gamay/pinot noir, grown naturally free of herbicides and pesticides and gently handled through production. It’s fermented in 80% neutral French oak and aged for five months on its lees. The palate is as refreshing as the nose while pitching earth, wet stones, and juicy, savoury cranberry and cherry with a tangy finish. Real gamay and a dinner stable star.Tasted: 23 December 2022Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
