Van Westen Vineyards Viscous 2021

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaViscous continues to overdeliver in likeability and sheer quaffability, not to mention how it plays to the versatility of the Naramata Bench. Fully ripe yet lively, walking the acid line, boasting nectarine, Granny Smith apple, lime, guava, and sugared lemon drops. I love the balance and the 11.6 ABV that lets this riesling slide down so fast the bottle will empty before the food arrives. Anything spicy, especially sushi rolls, works here, but you can sip this solo, too. Back up the truck if you are a patio freak, as this could be your summer star.Tasted: 16 November 2022Tasted by: Prices:
