Pascal Clément Savigny-lès-Beaune Guettottes 2015

Savigny-lès-Beaune, Côte de Beaune, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FrancePascal Clément, well known for his exceptional white wines, loves using older foudre for his whites, as he feels it brings out the saltiness in the wine. Pascal blocked MLF in this warm vintage, and he never employees bâtonnage on his wines, leaving them on full lees in barrels after pressing. From the hills of Savigny-les-Beaune and the Guettottes parcel. This is holding that warm vintage very well, with a streaming tight acid line driving ripe pear and pear skin, lemon peel, and a buzzy, salty limestone underlay that lingers long. Beauty freshness still in this smart wine.Tasted: 11 November 2022Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
