Château La Coste Grand Vin Rosé 2021
Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, Provence, Sud de France, FrancePouring a pale pink hue, this is a graceful, finessed old vine syrah/grenache/vermentino rosé, from d'Aix's limestone clay soils, at some altitude. It was whole cluster pressed and gas-protected, with cool ferment in stainless, where it spends 6 months on lees prior to bottling. Pouring a pale, delicate pink hue, this is tight and tart with red currant, wild strawberry, scents of mandarin and ample stony salinity.
