Bénédicte et Stéphane Tissot Indigène Crémant du Jura NV

Arbois, Jura, FranceNow headed by the winery’s second generation, Benedicte and Stephane Tissot produce 28 wines from 40 hectares in Arbois, farmed organically, biodynamically and chemical-free. Indigène blends 50% chardonnay, 40% pinot noir, 5% poulsard, and 5% trousseau, native ferment, and partially aged in barrel. The secondary ferment is kicked off naturally, with grape sugars. Oxidative apple, pear skin, dried pineapple, lemon rind rule the palate, held lofty up front with bright acidity. My bottle tasted pretty tired, so would like to try again in future.Tasted: 09 November 2022Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
