Tender Hope Winery Chardonnay Buta’s Vineyard 2020

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSkinny, tight, acidic style with a big citrus attack and touches of vanilla and honey in the back end. The grapes are grown in East Kelowna in Buta’s Vineyard, and the wine is a composite of specific block selections. The grapes were whole cluster pressed, fermented, and aged in a mix of stainless steel tanks and neutral French oak barrels for eight months with weekly lees stirring. It’s bone dry and, as mentioned, spare on the palate, but would be perfect with oysters or a creamy pasta dish.Tasted: 05 October 2022Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
