Foxtrot Pinot Noir Henricsson Vineyard 2020

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada2020 is the first time the Henricsson Vineyard Pinot Noir was entirely vinified in the cellars at Foxtrot. The fruit is partially destemmed, with 25% being crushed whole cluster. After a three day cold soak, it is fermented in stainless steel, getting 17 days of maceration and gentle pumpovers before spending 14 months in 12% French oak. This is a dry, earthy affair with notes of black cherries, and spicy, rooty, licorice. The spice continues through the wine with a savoury minty aftertaste. The creamy, silky textures are outstanding, bringing a sense that you could drink this earlier than the other labels. It was a perfect partner for a roast turkey.Tasted: 07 October 2022Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
