D'Angelo Miscela Tempranillo 2018

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaTempranillo blended or mixed (miscela) with merlot and cabernet franc is an intriguing cuvée, and undoubtedly unique to BC. The colour is inky opaque, but adding tempranillo in the majority adds a freshness and a fruity lift to the label. Black plums, black cherries, and blackberries flood the palate with a drying, earthy undercurrent and some sticky tannins. This would be a good match for a lamb stew or a mushroom pasta dish.Tasted: 18 October 2022Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
