British Columbia, CanadaThe Reserve Syrah is a barrel selection from 3 different parcels in the Southern Okanagan, with 20% whole cluster and 18 months in neutral French oak before bottling unfined and unfiltered. You can taste the forest fires of 2018 here, seeing this big, plush red through a smokey haze. Browning cherry, red currant, and worn leather are pinned by sticky tannins and seasoned with baking spices.
