Winemaker's Cut Bohemian Cabernet Franc 2020

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe fruit is a mix of 17 year old cabernet franc vines grown at Deadman Lake and Quails Wayside vineyards in West Oliver. Post ferment, the wine spends ten months in French oak. The style is somewhat reminiscent of the Loire and Niagara, with more red fruit, leafy notes, and plenty of licorice and ripe peppers. There is a softness that attracts, along with lavender, mint, and spice. A winter red for roasted meats or vegetable dishes that you can start to drink in 2023. Definitely a bit Bohemian.Tasted: 23 September 2022Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
