Pentâge Winery Rosé 2021

Skaha Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPentâge Winery is family owned and operates 35 acres overlooking Skaha Lake in Penticton. The rosé fruit comes from an interesting field blend that involves seven different varieties led by syrah and zinfandel. It opens with candied strawberry and caramel, with a touch of violets. The palate is equally intense with pink grapefruit and ripe strawberry and watermelon. Rich, soft, ripe, and ready to drink, this would be a fine foil to spicy appetizers. The fruit gets a lengthy 30 hour cold soak, hence its deep pink glow. It is fermented in stainless steel tanks and it is a blend of five picks, all fermented separately with 3 different yeasts.Tasted: 02 September 2022Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
