Meyer Family Vineyards Pinot Noir Micro Cuvée McLean Creek Vineyards 2020

Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMicro Cuvée bottlings are barrel selections from their organically farmed estate McLean Creek Vineyard, and its steep gravel and sandy loams. This year's blend is predominatnly Pommard clone 91, with 25% clone 115. This was fermented and aged in two new French oak 500L puncheons, along with 4 x 1 year old French puncheons for 11 months. It was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Very perfumed, with black raspberries, fragrant bumbleberry, wild blackberry on a long, smoothed palate, with fine spices texturing, and softly furry tannins framing the silken palate. Very elegant, and ideal with BC salmon / sablefish / wild mushrooms now, and with time in your cellar.Tasted: 05 September 2022Tasted by: Prices:
