Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWith a garnet hue, this merlot feels a bit muted on the nose showing slightly evolved dark fruit along with some woodsy oak nuances and a hint of dried herbs. Richer and more concentrated on the palate, red berries and plum, layered with subtle oyster sauce umami, are framed by adequate wood tannins that are felt at the back.
