Blue Grouse Quill Pinot Noir 2020

British Columbia, CanadaQuill is a mix of Oliver and Cowichan Valley fruit that in 2020 has upped its island content to 62.5 percent. At a tidy 12.5 percent alcohol, this wine glides onto the palate with a lifted sweet cherry underpinned by cranberries, earthy forest floor, and brown spice. A delicious drinking style you can serve with a favourite salmon dish or a mushroom pizza. The fruit is left on its skins for four days, then fermented wild separately. Post ferment, it is aged in two year old French oak barrels to complete malolactic fermentation, followed by a year of aging in French and American oak.Tasted: 04 July 2022Tasted by: Prices:
