Thibault Moulin-à-Vent les Vieilles Vignes 2016
Moulin-à-Vent, Beaujolais Villages, Beaujolais, Burgundy, FranceThibault has made this cuvée since 2009, keeping it separate from the blended Vieilles Vignes wine. The vines are planted over deep blue/pink sandy granite and silt soils at the bottom of the hill. The result is a rich, round, mouthfilling expression of Moulin-à-Vent, which you can drink now. The style is succulent, with concentration of dense, juicy fruit, black cherries, pepper. It is just coming to life after six years.
