Hic et Nunc Monolite Cortese 2021

Piedmont, ItalyHic et Nunc is from from the Latin 'Here and Now', and devoted to making wines from their home in Monferrato, in northwestern Italy's Piemonte. Of their 100 hectares of arable lands, woods and poplar groves, 20 hectares are dedicated to local vines, and the are entirely estate, organically managed, on clay limestone soils. This comes from a white marl vineyard at 170m, and was fermented in stainless where most of it remains (10% into 225L barriques) for 6 months. Full in the mouth, with ample acacia, fragrant white blossoms, ripe pear, baked quince, marzipan, and spice toasted almonds, this is a stylish, and accomplished bigger white, ready for equally rich white proteins and / or creamy risottos.Tasted: 08 July 2022Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
