Clos du Soleil Rosé 2021

Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis year's Rosé blends 60% cabernet sauvignon with 40% malbec, sourced from their Similkameen home vineyards as well as La Côte in Keremeos, both farmed organically. The destemmed fruit was under dry ice for 4 hours, then gently pressed and cool co-fermented in stainless, where it aged on lees for 4 months. Tight and zesty, with a bracing grapefruit pith tightening spring rhubarb, Rainier cherry, wild raspberry, studded with ample stony, salinity and lit with tart cranberry acidity. A smart, dry rosé to crack into this summer, ideally with salmon.Tasted: 29 May 2022Tasted by: Prices:
