Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis deeper peach hued syrah comes off the sandy loams of Amalia Vineyard, on Osoyoos East Bench. It was fermented cool in stainless, where it remained until bottling. Fleshy and compact, with ripe cherry, raspberry, white pepper, and scrubby desert sage, this is a punchy, dry, well-handled style, ready to tackle salmon or mushroom burgers this summer.
